The FW is easier on the trucks suspension however the TC will be easier on the drive train. However, with either, you can figure you will get over 100k miles out of the truck.
I would make the decision more on how you want to travel and how much room you want to relax. With a TC, traveling style is usually more on the move while the FW is much nicer for going to a base camp for at least a week before moving on.
I've had both with the same truck and the TC finally won out because I'm still working so cover more miles than sitting hours. After retirement, we will make a couple of whirlwind trips exploring the entire USA making notes on what we want to go back to enjoy in depth. Then we will probably switch to a FW or TT behind the TC so we have more room when we go back to visit our favorite places more in-depth by staying longer.
