Another nod towards the '05+ Ford 6.8 V-10 with the upgraded 5R110 5 speed trans (over the pre '05 4R100 4 speed trans). All of the earlier V-10 blown plug issues were taken care of by '03 with thicker heads that had more plug threads. In '05 they got the 3 valve heads and higher HP & torque and the 5R110 trans is a sweet unit with tow/haul mode and a solid reputation. The V-10 option cost a whopping $600 extra in 2009. That was a no brainer for me. It is amazingly quiet also until you really put a heavy load on it and then it sings a beautiful seductive melody.
