They are all nice trucks, but as far as mileage there is a member here (NChauler) who is getting right at 16 I believe with his 2013 Ram dually that has the 4.10's.
Seems from my readings they are using more DEF than advertised. Also if your ordering I believe the 2013 window is closed but the good news is the 2014 MY Ram DRW have the rear air ride option :B They really soften the rear leaf springs for better ride when not towing.
Have fun shopping
The truck is my daily driver, truly love this truck, I make up reasons to drive it. It's my daily driver to and from work and I'm averaging 15.5 mpg (hand calc) fairly easily with that. I've made several trips in the mountains from my home in Western NC to my camp in WV, (255 miles and actually got 17mpg best yet going up last time..running 73 in 70 and 68 in 65, unless running posted speed limits on secondary roads)...i will average over 16.5 fairly easily on a trip with this truck..
I have to say, due to issues with an adapter to match Ram's 5er/GN prep package,(though, now all is well and in place), I've yet to tow with my truck due to cancelled camping trips, BUT the 2012, with 68RFE tranny, and the HO engine, 350HP and 800ftlb of TQ, easily towed my loaded 16,000# 5er, I will "assume" that the 2013 Ram with the Aisin tranny giving the truck 385HP and 850ftlb of TQ, and with the increases in GVWR to 14,000# and GCWR to 37,000# as well as a RAWR of 9750,# I'm going to "assume" the truck will exceed how well the 2012 towed my 5er....Will find out soon:).....
