Which Pickup, to first generate over 1000 ft. lbs. torque ?

GM is lower on torque, but not hp. Both are important numbers and with transmission and engine controls the Duramax is no slouch, I'm not sure why people think torque is all that matters??

I'm a big torque fan, but that's only one part of getting a load up a hill. Once your moving hp is more important, which is why on a flat tq curve a engine cannot hold 1800 rpms up a hill but they can hold 2200 with the same torque.
