Which quad bunk to get?

Hello,

Well we are finally ready to purchase a camper this fall, but which one? We were leaning heavily at the Keystone Passport GT 2920 but keep seeing mixed reviews on overall quality. I have now become interested in the Jayco White Hawk 30DSQB. So am I missing anything? We have 5 kids a Corgi and Dachshund so quad bunks are a must as is a U dinette but other than that we are open to other brands. Any guidance or suggestions?
  • We looked at the Keystone, I actually like the outside more than the Sunset Trail 290BH we ended up purchasing. We looked at both back to back and ended up going with the ST as it was only $1200 more and the inside features, fit and finish was much better. We've had zero problem issues since our purchase in January. Good luck!

Kind of off-topic, but how do you guys pull 35+ foot travel trailers? Is it just a comfort thing? You get used to it with time?

We would have loved a lot of these setups, but at 33+ feet usually the idea of that long of a trailer + tow vehicle always makes me worry. Especially out in the west with cross winds / mountain passes. I "settled" on a 29 foot bumper to hitch trailer and it makes me worry sometimes.

Long wheel base 3/4 ton, good hitch, can't tell it is there unless I am pulling a hill as my truck is a gasser, so it gets louder. No sway and good shocks on the TV cured any porposing.

Mine is 35 feet over all but weighs in at just 7480 loaded on the scales.

I have had no problems getting it into just about any site that is long enough. Your trailer being at 29 feet already you probablly wouldn't notice the extra 4 or 5 feet.
