Whirlwind week... New (to us) TV and a new TT on order...
Well... :)
A crazy and awesome week it seems is underway! We've been looking around trying to figure out how to make our camper dream come true and stay well within our means. We have known for a long time what Camper we wanted - but it needed a HD/Max Tow 1/2 ton or a 3/4 ton to tow it safely. That part was going to put a severe strain on the camping budget if we had to buy new - and frankly in my area the prices for used trucks in good shape can be crazy.
Last Friday I found "it"! :) The "Blue Monster" as DD and DS have named it. Got it for a steal.
And - well - since we all of a sudden had a TV - the next logical step was to pull the trigger and buy us a camper.
So today - we put in our order for a new TT - a Starcraft Autumn Ridge 329BHU... We should get delivery (we hope) just before July 4th.
Thanks to everybody here that has offered such a wealth of insight and information! I felt I was very well armed with the information I needed to deal with this whole process thanks to everyone here.
Wish us luck now while we wait for it to be built and take delivery. And then I'll be back with 1,000 more noob questions! - haha.
