Sounds like a form of mildew. We keep our trailer in an outdoor, but covered storage facility down here and had what you describe in the galley area of our WhiteHawk but nowhere else. I had the only roof vent in the trailer open (in the bath) when I discovered it. Cracked open two windows on the street side of the trailer. The improved ventilation/air circulation apparently did the trick.
My fix may not be practical in your situation, but if you can somehow improve air circulation it may help by moderating the interior temperature and humidity level in the trailer.
Thomasmnile , I just did this with several windows especially in the trouble area this past weekend to see if this will help. Thanks for your advise.
