jefe4x4 had posted a recent TCTR on our last Mojave Trail trip, which has it's own challenges with camper height due to all the Joshua Trees.
Myself, I'm going back into Death Valley (May) via south Pass to the hot springs then on to the Bristle Pine Cone Groves in Indyo NF, also planning another trip to the WRT in the first part of July.
Silver, I'm going to check out those places you suggested.
