I do most of the driving and yeah it's probably somewhat of a guy thing.
DW is very capable of driving everything we have ever had, including any of our tractors and the equipment that goes with them.
She had her own truck and horse trailer right out of high school and then her own truck camper also.
Having only one person who can drive the rig is not a good idea.
a few weeks ago we took a cow and her calf to the vet with the f350 stick shift and a stock trailer.
The cow ended up attacking me and picking me up and throwing me down on the concrete floor. I was hurt and unable to drive and it wasn't a problem because she could drive the rig home.
But what if she couldn't drive the rig and something like that happened on a trip a long ways from home?
It would be a major problem.
