Everything is a compromise in a TC from storage to climbing stairs all the time to floor space. This is just another one of those things we put up with to have the versatility of a TC.
We actually like the wet bath in our AF 990 better than the dry bath in the TT we used to have, but all wet and dry baths are not created equal. When shopping, we carefully compared the wet baths of the AF 990 and Lance 992 that we were interested in and there was a big difference. If you ever tried a wet bath in a small Class B van, you would probably swear them off forever.
Yes, water on the floor is a small PIA after showering, but I would gladly put up with that for the extra floor and storage space it affords.
