We shower in ours all the time and have plenty of room. DH is 6'2" and with the skylight he doesn't have to squat.
We put the bath mat outside the door and dry on it there.
I have put up hooks on the ceiling and cut down and hemmed a color coordinated decorative shower curtain to act as a privacy curtain. It works perfectly and we have plenty of room.
There really is no big deal in wiping the bath down. A $5 large microfiber towel dries everything quickly.
The most annoying thing is when you forget to cover the TP...but you learn quickly. :)
