WELL PUT! This argument about half tons not being able to pull anything bigger than a lawn trailer drives me up the wall. I pull mine just fine.
Open your driver's door and look for how much payload you have where mine says 2051:

Then look for a sticker like this one on your receiver:

You have plenty of power as many half tons do. Air bags will mask the overloaded rear axle.
If you sold a 2013 dually for a half ton, then taking more depreciation re-upgrading might be acceptable to you if you go forward with this RV purchase and feel uncomfortable.
