But, really - PUPs have lots of bed space and not a lot of storage space. Our first Pup was a 10 foot pup with a king and a small double. We had two small kids and they took turns on the bunk end/converted table. Basically the pup was all bed. Then there was that first time when our kids were teens and and both away at camps. We took our pup out and suddenly we had a dining room table, which was nice, but even better - a nice sized ledge for all our stuff. Your friend might appreciate the extra bed. It isn't like you save anything on towing length by having a one sided pup.
