I also disagree with the OP.
Northwoods Mfg and Lance both go the extra mile to make sure that things are done correctly. Lance uses some pretty high tech construction methods and also materials. Also OutdoorRV Mfg is doing something right too!
I too disagree with the OP and I agree that Northwoods, Lance and Outdoor RV are better than the majority.
We looked at Lance, but couldn't find a floor plan that we liked. In hind site I wish we wouldn't have worried about the floor plan so much and gone with the Lance.
Lance's customer service impressed me. When we were looking at the Lance the dealer took us out to look at a "new" used TT. It was new/used because it had been sold, the purchaser took it home, parked it in the driveway and ran the slide out. The slide cut the vinyl flooring, because they didn't level it before putting the slide out.
When the dealer contacted Lance, they told the dealer to give the customer a new unit, they would send a tech along with a new slide mechanism to inspect and repair the unit.
Lance wanted to know if they had a slide problem or if it was a user problem.
I could have bought that camper at close to a fifty percent discount. I'm still kicking my backside because I didn't.
I bet you are kicking yourself. But if you have an RV that you're happy with and it serves your purposes, that's all that matters, right?
Have fun and RV!
