Yeah, it's kind of a funny thing - the way different people are affected differently and prefer the different color temperatures. I really prefer the 3000-3500K temp (warm white) and that's what I have in all the LEDs I've installed in my house. The cool white reminds me too much of the compact fluorescent - but that's just me and what I've gotten used to, I suppose.
If you prefer the cooler white, you actually have an advantage when shopping for replacement LEDs. It seems like that color temperature range is a little easier to find. I had to search a little harder to find the ones I was looking for.
