Who's insurance pays

Yes, it's liability that he didn't have..... my mistake when I typed this up....I was really upset when a typed this. Still not happy...... and very upset with our insurance..... they are not responsive and I get the feeling they just want us to file the clam and pay the deductible....and they will fix it without going after anyone....thus raising our insurance since we camp next to a fire hazard.

It would have been the comprehensive coverage that covered his payout. Are you sure it didn't say he had no liability coverage? What does your insurance agent say about this letter?

Still no word...... other owner was under insured.......looks like we will have to claim on our own insurance. Other owner says he wants to make it right but when we told him it was going to be $350 for a person to come out and give an estimate on ours he clammed up. Told him it's 350 and that is cheaper than having to pay for campground personnel to take camper off our site. (this requires a tractor to be done) Campground charges $80-100 per hour to move campers on and off sites. When ours was originally put in it and our old one was removed it was a 4 1/2 hour job at $90 an hour.....not happy campers right now and starting to worry about leaks due to the strips of rubber that are melted that cover the metal tracks where the seams of the trailer go together.......it rained shortly after the fire. Going to try to get a tarp over it now but damage may already be done. Also the other owner has already gotten his insurance money for his camper. (did not have comprehensive coverage on it) and his company sent a letter stating they were not going to cover our damage due to this.

According to everyone we have talked to including insurance adjusters, the other person's insurance should cover our damages.... stay tuned to see if this works out. Campground owner was not happy we had damage too and is really annoyed that this other camper burned......luckily when it burned it was not windy out or others would have been damaged too.

My dad stores his boat in a heated barn with many other boats during winter months. 3 years ago someone cause set their boat on fire while working on it in the barn. It promptly caused the change reaction and I think 6 more boats caught on fire and the rest had some sort of fire/smoke damage. My dad's insurance paid for the boat to be totaled out. I assume the insurance eventually went after the guy that started it to recoup some of their costs.

Happens every time, that's how the outcome is managed. The system is setup that way from many years of successful client control and manipulation. Those in pain and suffering are easy prey, be aware.

I didn't have it happen to a trailer but was involved in a MVA with 2 other vehicles. I was stopped at a red light and vehicle 1 was driving distracted and hit vehicle 2 which slammed into me. Vehicle 1 insurance paid for all of our repairs and replacement car seat for granddaughter, no questions asked. My insurance wasn't involved at all.

In the end car #3 insurance is covering ALL damages and medical etc. for #1 and #2. Our son's insurance pays his bill, fixes the bike and will get the reimbursement from #1. His medical pays his bills outright and then recoops from #1.

#3 is already writing checks to insurance #1 an #2 for damages, medical, etc. etc.

Nice thing is he doesn't need to deal with #1 insurance or #3 insurance his insurance pays and then goes to the others for reimbursement. Same on medical. he gets covered and they go after responsible parties.

If #3 hit your son, and knocked him into #1, why is your son's insurance getting reimbursed from #1. Im either missing something, or it's late and Im tired.
