Seems like a lot of speculation. I agree with the suggestion to ask someone in the know, vice internet lawyers.
That being said, I can understand the campfire bantering that would lead to the discussion. There's too many issues or circumstances in every situation to be able to definitively say who's insurance covers what. Even for the guy who knows the guy who owns the RV dealership.
