Why 2 tent beds and not just one on all HTT's?

We have a BIG storage bin that sits outside the camper near the tongue.
All of our dirty clothes go in there so it doesn't stink up the camper.
Then the bin goes in the bed of the truck for the ride home and right into the laundry room.
