Sharing the road daily with people who think their driving skills compensate for a grossly overloaded vehicle is what makes driving exciting for the rest of us. As a teenager, I wobbled down the road with too much weight in the back of a 1955 Chevy half ton. Back then we could slow down to thirty mph to stay between the ditches. Not so easy today.
You went from you got to have a big truck in case the brakes fail; to now snarky insinuations that all half tons are grossly overloaded. Why can't you just admit that a 1/2 T can be operated within it's manufacturer's ratings and tow a TT bigger than a popup. "Pride"??.
