10 days of slightly better towing or 355 days of slightly worse ride, fuel cost, slight worse ability to park, slightly decreased braking and acceleration unloaded (yes 3/4 and 1 tons brake worse and accelerate slower than 1500s, look it up).... no thanks.
I like the way you think. I agree 100%. I have a 2500 series, but I think a 1500 series is a great choice for those that have RVs lighter than mine. Get the right tool for the job you want it to do.
Or said another way... Set your priorities you want out of your truck and choose accordingly.
