Why all the hate on 1/2 ton tvs

Let me add my "credible" opinion then. I have a F250 and a 1/2T. I have towed my trailer thousands of miles with both. Does the F250 tow it better - Yep. Is the 1/2T fully capable of towing it safely also - Yep. You see it's like having two pipe wrenches to take a connection apart, one bigger then the other. Both will work adequately and safely to take the connection apart. All that means is they are both one of many tools that will work to do the job. Some just work better then others, doesn't make either one inadequate. I got the T-Shirt that says I have two tools that both work.
