Why aren't slides built with a "pitch"
Why don't they build slides with a "pitch" on the roof of the slide so the water would run off to the front and rear of the camper like it does on a house roof? A couple of inches of pitch would do it...

Sloping away from the trailer would lead to a smaller wall that would not fill the cutout.
Arched side to side or peaked would work.
But of course, that would increase production cost. Can't have that.
