Why aren't slides built with a "pitch"
Why don't they build slides with a "pitch" on the roof of the slide so the water would run off to the front and rear of the camper like it does on a house roof? A couple of inches of pitch would do it...

My 2010 Dutchman was a short slide with about an inch or so of pitch and a gutter to drain water.
It works well except in a very hard rain. I have been thinking of a retractable awning over the top.
