Like you said, it depends on what you want. I don't particularly like towing a big trailer, but having room for everyone to have their own space is pretty nice, especially if the weather turns rainy, or it is winter and gets dark early. All 5 of us can sleep in our current trailer, but it is tight. If I had known there were going to be 5 of us when we bought, I would have definitely gone bigger.
