For us it was a tradeoff.
The larger rigs have all the amenities and luxuries. If you are full timers or take extended trips those extra features are nice. The downside is you cannot get into some sites.
A smaller one fits into a lot more places, but you give up some features to get the smaller rig. The one we chose was the right combination for us. Others will choose differently.
