Why do people have such large trailers?

So, who is it directed at and why should they (I) care? 2 people, 34'4" trailer and I love it. Why should I have to justify it to you or anyone else? I camp about every 2nd weekend from May long weekend to Labour day plus 2 weeks in the summer. I go where I like and I enjoy my trailer just fine as it is. You choose smaller and that is your choice.

So why the question? I mean, you answered it in your first sentance, so why go on?
