The person with the most and the biggest toys wins !!!!
Our 23ft TT was OK for the two of us. It had lots of room even when we had guests. But there were issues.... to go to the rear bathroom, you had to squeeze by if someone was cooking or doing dishes. The beds had to be made up each night and taken apart each morning. There was no comfortable place to sit for long periods...you basically had to make up the bed and lay down.
Our 38ft 5th wheel provides nearly 400 square feet of comfort when the two slides are out. No bottlenecks, 2 Lazyboy recliners and a full size sofa, the bed is always ready, a free standing expandable dining table and six comfortable chairs for meals....
It's like having a small apartment for our weekend trips...a true home away from home.
And to top it off, it's not that different from towing the 23 ft TT.
Like others have said..it's individual choice.
By the way we are now looking at 42 foot 5th wheels with 5 slideouts.
