I don't think your comparing Apples to Apples here. Having said that I would take that American iron Corvette over that carved up Chonda any day.
But not if you are racing modified or vastly modified street Sedans. A Toyota, Supra not eligible for the street, but weighing close to its production weight, turning low 6's and in one case a 5 second pass at 264mph, using Avgas and a stock dimension 3 litre Petrol engine.:B Defintely catches you attention.
