I believe it is only circumstantial but nevertheless it is a really bad idea to support a trailer by the corners. They are designed for the weight to be centrally located on the suspension. The further away you get from the spring mounts the weaker the frame is designed.
If you are going to support with blocking it needs to be done at the ends plus center on each side, not just on the ends.
I've seen a couple of small light weight models where the frame gets shallower near the ends but I don't think I've seen a 28 ft or larger where they didn't use a fixed dimension frame (ie: they don't design it to be weaker near the ends).
