Some people seem to have less of a sense of humor than others, and are wound much too tightly. Instead of just contributing to the greater group, some feel the need to be right all the time. I have a lot more serious issues in life to deal with, so taking abuse from an anonymous poster is not something I'm going to waste my time with. But I am on quite a few forums, and this one is probably the calmest of all of them. When I see a thread flaming up, I just move on.
