Why so few Murphy beds ?

I personally like having my bed AND my living area available at the same time. Dunno if that applies to others or not. However some of those floor plans really are compelling.

I have a Winnie with a Murphy bed. Increases options when friends must meet inside.

winnebego has come out with a raft of smaller trailers with murphy beds. My brother has one and it's a great combo. Yes you loose some storage but inside it has a regular couch in front of the murphy bed so your not stuck sitting at the dinette when inside.
