Thanks for all who are providing good info and well intentioned advice, I appreciate all of it.
And I did even more reading on this last night.
I think for myself, there isn't any doubt, when I buy new tires for the trailer they are going to be LT's. For the ground clearance I mentioned earlier, for the longer life, and because, despite some of the advice given here, assuming I have my TV and all related equipment in order to satisfy myself I can do it safely, I WILL be towing in excess of 65 MPH at times. After all my reading yesterday, I will NOT be doing over 65 on the ST's though.

I sure hope you aren't serious. Because if you really think you are helping "save lives", you couldn't be more wrong.
Aside from the fact that screwing with dozens of people at a time on the highway just because you can and it amuses you is just pompously arrogant and a move that shows zero class...
I assure you, you are NOT "saving lives" but are instead putting people in danger. I drive long distances, a lot. Put in more miles on the highway each year than most who don't do it for a living. Thousand mile weekends are pretty common. I see a lot of stuff happen. One of the things I consistently see, is that when traffic gets backed up behind a slow moving vehicle for mile after mile, some INSANELY STUPID passing behavior takes place.
99% of the time I see this happen, it's no fault of the slow moving vehicle. Nothing they can do when it's single lane and double lines with grades that slow them down. And it certainly isn't their fault that someone behind them decides to get stupid trying to pass.
But every so often, it turns out to be just someone at the head of the line, looking all smug and pleased with himself when a passing lane or dashed lines finally become available and the log jam he has created is able to get by. I guess that guy could be you?
It is still the person who decides to get stupid trying to pass that chooses to get stupid and if he gets himself and/or others hurt or killed doing it I guess you can sit there and point a finger and take no blame. But if you are putting dozens of people at a time in that situation just because it amuses you... Well, lets just say that I don't think that is treating others the way you would like them to treat you and it certainly isn't how I'm ever going to behave on the highway...
