Why!!!

Just spouting off, why is the 2 floorplans I want to look at about 4 hours away. So far its looks like the Palomino Solaire 20RBS and the Coachmen 231RBDS....Just wish I could see them in person. Michael
  • "4 hours away"............... that's "just around the corner"

Make a "road -trip" out of it and enjoy the day. Well worth it if it turns out to be the right floor-plan.

  • years back I drove 500 miles to the fleetwood truck camper factory in western Ohio to see one. only 4 hours, piece of cake.

  • You're lucky. I have known people who drove 1000 miles or more (1 way!) to view and quite often buy a used, molded-fiberglass trailer like Scamp or Casita. Be thankful that the ones you like are not more rare.
  • The DW and I made several such trip before we parted with our money. Finding the "right" floorplan can be tough but it is very important.
  • When looking to purchase our rig , we took a 3-1/2 hour ride to the one dealer.. Called in advance to make sure the units were there and available.

We made a day of it... left in the AM.. had a nice day and stopped for a good meal on the road on the way home... GO FOR IT

You can't really see all you want to see from manufacturer photos but you can get a close idea of what to expect. GOGGLE SEARCH is also pretty good with lots of interior photos for the various models... Just search for your two listed models and when it loads up select 'IMAGES'... Click on the one that catches your eyes.

We like to visit alot when camping with the various RV campers. Maybe you can stick head into one of those parked besides at the camp ground.

  • So why not take a drive to see them? Make a day of it and have fun. It's only a 4 hr drive not cross country.
