The truck and TC have an outside dimension of 8.5'x21'. I have a 8'x20' enclosed trailer with outside dimensions of 8.5'x24' and 5.5'x8' flat bed trailer with outside dimensions of 7'x11'. Both run the same size 15" tire, but the enclosed is one load range higher.
The enclosed trailer can be seen when driving straight through both mirrors while the flat bed can only be seen when making turns. The wider and taller your enclosed trailer, the longer tongue you need to avoid contacting the jacks in sharp turns when accessing raised driveways (mine is more severe due to a short truck wheelbase).
Centering the enclosed between the mirrors gets me within an inch sideways of the ball and coupler. Once I know I am close, I stop and take a look at their position to make the final correction before backing up the final distance. Hitching the flatbed usually is easiest by picking up the tongue and dropping it on the ball in the back - Even when fully loaded, I rarely have more than 250 lbs hitch weight and can drag a loaded trailer around myself.
My enclosed weighs almost 3500 lbs empty. If you ever plan to haul a car, you will be better off with the heavier rated 10,000 lb version over the lighter 7000 lb version made more for lighter hauling. You will find that licensing gets expensive once you hit the 10,000 lb limit, so the heavy tandem axle trailers will be rated just under that and you will only see the longer triples with greater capacities. My flat bed is just over 700 lbs empty - Although it has a 3500 lb axle, it is rated just under 3000 lbs to avoid the need for brakes.
When I am towing 7000 lbs with the enclosed or 2500 lbs with the flat bed, the feel in the truck is almost the same since the enclosed has a WDH and electric brakes while the flat bed has neither.
