I personally would say you need to get to the real reason why she doesnt like camping before making that call.
My parents RV'd for many years and then just suddenly stopped. After many conversations found out one of the main reasons was Mom said, " If I am going to cook and clean that's not a vacation! It's just the same thing in a different place"
Now I will never know if this is the reason they stopped or not but I bought it. Their life their choice...
Maybe you DW wants to "get away" and go to hotels and be pampered. Not sit in the woods with bugs and critters and dirt.. etc
Need to find the root cause of the problem before you can address it... just my 2 cents
