Another suggestion - make the next trip a hotel trip. Let her be reminded of the cost, relative inconvenience in some ways, and the fun of calling your own shots.Remind her of who may have slept in that bed, sat and who know what on that couch, or the remote (don't touch the remote).
When we are forced into a hotel the DW wraps the remote in a sandwich bag, without touching it and makes me throw the bed spread and pillows in a corner. She also drowns the restroom with Lysol.
