I just removed what I posted. I'm happy to see your post. It's kind of what I figured. At your ages you had to have very young kids. OH MY GOD, 2 and an infant!! Well you need say no more to me. I only had 2 and that was a handful. YES, it is a lot of work. I do it all, its less work with a motorhome believe me but still a lot. My daughter can't help me park or anything so I hook the toad, unhook, park, do the hookups, check everything before breaking camp and all of it. And it gets tiring for just me as I will be 68. That's why I take my time in driving which he doesn't like to do. But we have worked ours out over the years having been married 46 years, lots of accommodating each other over that many.
You guys will be ok. Maybe tell him to go fishing alone one weekend a month or something. I'm sure he is just excited about his new toy and wanting to use it, we all get that way.
By the way I am a sewer too, hubby helped me set up a whole room in the basement for my sewing room. I have all kinds of specialized machines, pattern cabinets, and enough fabric to sew for the rest of our lives!
And I helped him set up his new garage with anything and everything and we are adding on to it again. WE try to accommodate each other. But it was very hard when young and we had lots of arguments about things. You guys will be fine. Maybe if you could get family to care for the kids some weekend and you two just go together, that would be so much easier and give you a breather so you can just enjoy each other. My best to both of you.
