Anyone have an idea on how/what to equip my motorhome with a WIFI Hotspot? I do not want to use my satellite or satellite provider.thanks in advance

AT&T, Verizon, whatever provider you want, purchase a wifi hotspot box, buy whatever level of data you want. turn it on, and go. Works about anywhere you have sell service with that provider. You can go to Walmart and buy all of it.

walmart, i got a StraightTalk (uses Verizon towers) hotspot for about $60. i think it came with some data, but you can pretty easily reload online. I also have a Tmobile phone that can be used as a hotspot, so I have pretty good coverage between the two services. If you have a smartphone, most of them can be used as a wifi hotspot, provided you pay for that service.

My Samsung smartphone has a mobile hotspot app on it. No extra device needed. You can talk on it while the hotspot is on. The hotspot does use a lot of juice, so have a charger and outlet handy.

AT&T works best as a hot spot if you're going to use the phone as a hot spot. AT&T allows a hot spot connection plus a phone simultaneously. With Verizon you must do one or the other but not both. Because of this I switched my service from Verizon to AT&T.
