Please clarify the law that says one can not be over the manufacturers payload number. I do not see anything here that would apply to a pickup truck. This are the Federal Weight limits that are repeated by each state.

I too would like to see where the OP oR the person with the 02 f250 over a number of the manufactures warranty performance specs are illegal!
Says person thats been pulled over at 150 percent of manufactures 18200 gvwr and DID NOT get an over weight ticket mind you! I was even 1200 lbs over my paid for weight! Only got a 10 day up the paid for gvwr to 28,000 from 26,000 lbs.
Can ANYONE point out where over manufactures ratings is illegal?
