Basic figuring with example weights:
Add up weights of passengers 330 pounds
Stuff in bed and interior 250 pounds
Weight Distribution System. 100 pounds
Total of 680 pounds
Payload max minus above 1604-680 = 924 pounds
This is the max tongue weight you can put on your truck
Figuring at 15% tongue weight = 6160 pounds loaded trailer(Not Dry Weight)
Using 12.5% tongue weight, it comes to 7392 pounds loaded
So, you would be looking for a trailer in the 6000 to 7000 pound GVWR area with the above numbers
That is the Gross Vehicle Weight Rating, not the Dry Weight
Put your numbers in and see where you are
