Will this charge controller work for dual batteries?

So a couple months ago I ordered these Competition Solar kits on Amazon for a great price with plans to put at least one on the TC and maybe a second down the road, and the third for a remote cabin. I have not installed any yet but have a question:

My AF has dual T-105 12V batteries. Do I need a special charge controller that is rated for two batteries or will the kitted one work?

Controller is fine. Not exactly the best but it will work OK.

I figure since I already have it and I'm new to solar I'll start with that and possibly upgrade later.
    Thx!
  • Ok. Thanks guys! I was looking at the Morningstar Duo thinking I needed something like that now.
  • The controller doesn't know or care how many batteries you have hooked up as long as the bank is the proper voltage.

    Aren't T105s a 6v battery?

They are, and since they are connected in series, which gives you 12 volts, which is a "12v battery bank"
  • The charge controller is rated for the panels, not the batteries. The controller that came with the panel is adequate for "one" panel. If you connect 2-panels together & use on the TC, you'll need a higher amp controller.
