Jefe, if you look at the pic of the under side , the flat horz. plate above the front reciver is drilled with two front holes and two rear slots @ a 10" x4 1/2" pattern . The area inside the bumper will acsept a just over 11" tall winch , I had been looking at the lower level superwinch tigershark 11500 lb ($500) because its so inexpensive to buy , now I see they have a 13.5k($600)15k($650)and a 17.5k($750)also , My camper and truck are probably 13k loaded ,my truck weighs 8025 lbs since I duallyed and flatbeded it, and if it got stuck , without a square pull I`d worry about ripping the frame or something with the 17.5 , what do you think ? All this talk of winches has me looking again. Hate to buy junk , or to small but I`d probably never use it much. Thinking 13.5k
I`ve had the bumper for 7 years and haven't been stuck yet, but every winter I pull 4-5 folks out of the snow with a pull strap
Also I think somewhere I`ve seen a grill for the front of the trans cooler , so it dosent get all dingesed up when your fooling with the winch , got any idea
The bumper , they say weighs 190lbs but that may be without the grill guard ,
By the way its off topic but I`ll take my chances, how did you get the rear wheels on your truck that wide , use some kind of dually type spacer? That must make it feel much more stable with the camper on, looks good
