Wind Generator?
Does anybody use a wind generator? Vs... solar? Has anyone already worked out the pro's - con's? Thanks,

The power available in wind is related to the cube of the wind speed. So, if you double the wind speed you get 8 times the power. This means that low speed wind really doesn't have enough power potential to bother with.

Solar is a much better solution for an RV.
They do work better high up, but can be mounted lower.

One cruiser got 2.4 times the output mounting it on top of his mast. People are reporting that in steady 20 know trade winds they produce 200AH per day. Watch the YouTube video. The noise issue is history if you buy the right unit.
