Try one of those collapsible hampers with the coiled wire built in the fabric. Cut out the bottom end the install some carpeting on the bottom so the cat nails won't tear the bottom of the hamper. Support hamper as needed. It would look like a tunnel that would fit inside the window openings of the truck and TC. Did something for our cat but the distance was only six inches from truck to camper.
