Window Boot

Our TC is about 9.5-10.5 inches away from the back window of our truck. We want to put in a Boot and ramp so that our cats can go between the cab and the camper. My question is: Will a large truck innertube work for this purpose? Will the rubber wear away at the paint on the TC? Any thoughts on this? Thanks, Del

    On my first camper, I had a crawl-thru installed, they installed snaps on the inside of my truck and installed the other end into my camper. It involved removing both the Truck Window and the Camper Window. The only drawback was having to install both windows if I had the camper off the truck. It was very handy, just slide into the truck from the camper.
