Window trim gap

We just purchased a used Keystone Passport Ultralite. Needed cleaning up, and can't wait to get it on the road. As we're going over the rig, we noticed 2 spots on different windows that had gaps in the weatherstripping.
I assume these need to be filled so rain doesn't get in? Silicone caulk be ok here?
I would post a picture but can't figure out how! The gap on one is about the size of a penny, so 3/4" or so.

    That is called RV window glazing bead, and can be ordered. It's almost like the RV manufacturers stretch these things to save a few cents. This stuff almost always shrinks, leaving these gaps. You can replace the whole thing, making sure not to stretch it as you go, or do what I have done, order a couple feet, and just cut/fill in what you need.

    Cosmetic and shrinkage is common problem in RV. If you google RV trim you should be able to find outlets which sell ... I would bring in sample to Camping World or other RV parts house and see if they have supply. I have read that soaking in hot water helps with installation.

    If you want to fill it, I would use Geocel or Lexel. Most people never use silicone.
    An alternative is to remove the trim and replace with proper length. I had to do that with some vinyl insert trim.

    I'm more concerned with leaks down into the wall that I can't see

    You have double img brackets on both picture links.

    Should only have one bracket in front and one in back of pix link.

    Go back and redo the copy of your link using the select picture from your computer.

    I have the same gap on some of my windows they do not leak so they are OK in my book.
    You should turn the water hose on the gap and have someone on the inside to see if they leak. I would not use Silicone on them.
