Windscreen Protection
Current truck, over it's life, has been driven multiple times from/to BC and Denver, Co. through all kinds of weather and has been blasted with blowing sand along route (especially through Wyoming), leaving an almost hazy pitting on windscreen. Not really noticeable normally but visible when low sun on window or from oncoming headlights. And to make matters worse, just had it out today and received it's fourth windscreen chip (we have a heck of a lot of gravel trucks in the greater Vancouver area).
Am about to take possession of a new truck and wondering if there is some way to mitigate this. Thinking of something similar to the clear film they put on Nascar racing cars, but not as easily removable, but able to remove when needed.
Anyone used or know of such a product or other method?
