The look of a truck is about #153 on the list of what motivates me to buy. For proof, I offer the fact that I bought one of the 1st year Nissan Titans that looked like a hearse :)
Seriously, everyone gets all excited over these "leaked" photos that I'm sure the manufacturer throws out to get the buzz started.
Here's a good question for all you Paparazzis - Why would a manufacturer badge a truck they were trying to keep secret????
They are pre-production testing the build process and quality. You would be surprised how many are built before the first actually get to the consumer. - mtofell1ExplorerThe look of a truck is about #153 on the list of what motivates me to buy. nothing like making them all cookie cutter like.........
I wan't something different so it is easy to find in the walmart parking lot. :W
I have no trouble finding my truck in the wal-Mart lot. It's the one sticking out 3' out in the drive lane and 2' taller than all the vehicles around it. All else fails, hit the remote start and listen for the 2 horn beeps and the big 6 to fire up. I can also find it by GPS on my phone. Track it right down to the spot.Lol, technology. - 1stgenfarmboyExplorernothing like making them all cookie cutter like.........

I wonder what the platform revision is going to be and if the 1/2t will have a payload rating more in line with the competition? - goducks10Explorer

It means the very large RAM text will be mounted to the tailgate similar to what's on your truck. Also the holes probably means that all rams will carry this tailgate badging and these holes will make debadging very difficult. Again ditching the ram logo in favor of the RAM name.
So if you put that Ram tailgate on the front of the truck, then it would look like a SuperDuty. :p
The age of subtlety is gone. It's branding, chrome, and image now. Logos have gotten bigger. Grills have gotten bigger. Sticker prices have gotten bigger. Everything has gotten bigger, except fuel tanks.
Wallets are smaller now. :) - Perrysburg_DodgExplorer

Somebody at FCA really messed up. Those probably should never have been outside without their camo even if they were covered.
The pics have been on Allpar for three weeks now. The trucks are due to hit the dealers late January. I think they knew what they were doing. ;)

No more "cross" grill?
It looks like the grill will have "RAM" on the horizontal bar and the traditional ram logo has been ditched.
Also I noticed holes punched in the tailgate that has large spacing and we all know what that means. :E
What does it mean? The RAM letters on attached with tape just like all manufacturers do.
