Personally, it appears that some of that "Big Rig" styling has gone away in this latest version. I wonder if the HD's will follow suite, or if they will be given a unique face (like Ford F-150 vs F-250+). It's certainly more brickish looking like Ford and GM currently has. I also wonder how much of this plays into aerodynamics. I do love the fact that it seems like they're going with LED headlights. It's been a pet peeve that they never got a better lighting package than the halogen setups offered currently. GM and Ford had the advantage there with optional HID or LED headlights (well for Ford, at least starting 2017 for their HD trucks).
This made me like my current rig a little more. I'll hold out final judgement until I see the 3/4 or 1-ton trucks roll out.
