winnebago micro lite vs FR flagstaff micro lite

My DW and I are considering a new purchase of either a forest river flagstaff Micro lite 23FBKS or Winniebago micro mini 2106DS . Both have our desired Murphy bed. The Winnie is 7' wide and the Flagstaff is 8" wide. Has anyone owned either and how do they tow. I will tow w/ my 2018 F150 5.0 RWD truck. Appreciate any pro and cons on both.
  • We have a 2016 Flagstaff 26RLWS. Been very pleased with it and have had no significant problems at all. I haven't seen the specific model you are looking at but one thing we found with ours is the little touches in the design. My wife says it must have been designed by a woman because they thought of a lot of little things that add up to a very nice RV. The quality of ours is exceptional. No complaints at all.
  • It's a small distinction but it might enter into your decision. The 7 foot wide camper will not require extended side view mirrors and you will not have to swing as wide making turns. I have a 7 foot wide Funfinder that tows very easily. The narrower trailer gives up some interior space, but with the slide deployed the interior seems spacious enough.
  • My Winnie is 7.5 feet wide. Wouldn’t want a 7. If you dry camp remember the Winnebago only has 37 gallons of fresh water including the water heater while other TT has 58.
  • No experience with either, but after a very quick glance I like the Forest River a little better.

    Corner, "garden shower"
    Bigger holding tanks.

You will have no problem towing either with you present truck.
    Good luck with your choice.
